The cut band is placed by hand over the container and then heat is applied (heat gun or heat tunnel). The heat causes the shrink band to shrink evenly and smoothly, creating a tamper-resistant, tamper-evident seal.
These types of shrink seals are made of PVC material and are available in layflat dimensions ranging from 19 mm to 450 mm. They can come in any cut length. Material is available in thickness of 1.5 mm to 4 mm.
